Information We Collect From You

We collect information from and about users of the Application (a) directly from you when you provide it to us and (b) automatically when you use the Application.

Automatic Information Collection

When you use the Application, it may use technology to automatically collect:

• Usage Details. When you access and use the Application, we may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of the Application, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on or through the Application.
• Device id. We may collect information about your mobile device and internet connection, including the device’s unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, browser type, mobile network information, and the device’s telephone number.
• Stored Information: with your permission, the Application also may access metadata and other information associated with files stored on your device.

Information Collection and Tracking Technologies

The technologies we use for automatic information collection may include cookies and others.  A cookie is a small file placed on your mobile device that may store your preferences and help with app navigation. It may be possible to deny mobile cookies on your device. However, if you deny cookies, you may not be able to access certain parts of the Application.

How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, to:

• Provide you with the Application and its contents, and any other information, products or services that you request from us.
• Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.

The usage information we collect such as date and time of usage, preferences, and more helps us to improve the Application and to deliver a better and more personalized experience by enabling us to:

Location data is only captured when you are using the application by calling on the GPS coordinates of the device with your permission. This location and time information might be transmitted to your employer to create timesheets or individual time tracking during working hours. SkillSignal cannot capture GPS signals from your device without your explicit permission.

We will retain information that we collect about you and usage information for so long as you use the Application and for up to twelve (12) months thereafter, unless we are required to retain it for a longer period of time to fulfill a legal requirement.

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual or device, without restriction.

Data Security

The account of every user is protected by a user-created password. While we cannot guarantee the security of user account information, we take reasonable precautions to protect the information of our users, as well as information collected from other users. We use industry standard or better measures to protect all information that is stored on our servers and within our database. We limit the access to this information to those employees who need access to perform their job function such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Application, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
